Laguna Beach Spring Break

The Tides Inn was a great place to stay in Laguna Beach. It was conveniently located near Heisler Park, the beach, downtown, restaurants, and a supermarket. We only needed to use the car once during our stay, since everything was within walking distance.
Pacific Marine Mammal Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine mammals stranded along the Orange County coastline and to increase public awareness of the marine environment through education and research.
The center was a short drive from downtown Laguna. A docent led us around on a very informative tour. We learned about these seals and sea lions that are rehabilitated before being released into the wild.
This was a unique cottage where Cynthia and I had breakfast. It was located only a block from our hotel. All the seating is outside in a garden with all sorts of trinkets for sale.
